THE PIECE
A six-petal kundan flower opens this earring, a single deep red cabochon glowing at its center. Below it, a crescent takes shape, edged all the way around in a fine border of seed pearls, its inner surface filled with red and pink enamel mosaic and a small kundan star at the middle. From there, the earring narrows into a long, diamond-shaped cascade, pearl clusters and pale green bead drops arranged symmetrically down the length, tapering to a single point marked by one last red teardrop stone. Where many kundan drops fan outward, this one builds vertically, giving it a noticeably longer, more elongated silhouette.
