THE PIECE
This one combines two traditional silhouettes in a single earring. It opens with a small green, grid-latticed stud, fringed in pearls and green beads, before dropping into a matching green crescent, its surface worked in the same grid pattern and centered on a single pink teardrop stone. Rather than ending in a flat fringe, the crescent releases into a small domed jhumka bell, ridged in gold and finished with its own skirt of pearl and green bead tassels. Chandbali crescent above, jhumka bell below, the pairing gives this earring more structural variety than a single repeated shape would.
