Along the necklace, that same purple appears as cushion-cut cabochons in flower-shaped gold settings, alternating with rose-cut white stones, before dropping to a single teardrop pendant at the centre - a raindrop shape that echoes the earrings and pulls the whole piece to a point. Each stone sits inside a double layer of gold and white stone work: an inner gold border, then a ring of pavé, then gold again - so the setting itself has depth before the eye even reaches the colour.
