Light does something different at each end of this earring. Up top, it scatters, fracturing across a clear crystal cut into a bold starburst. Lower down, it gets absorbed almost entirely, sinking into a teal-emerald oval so dense it edges toward black before flashing green from somewhere deep inside the stone. Scatter and absorb, bright and dark, the two halves couldn't behave more differently, and that's the appeal.
